Key Responsibilities:

Menu Preparation and Development:
Prepare a variety of authentic Indian dishes, including curries, tandoori items, breads, and desserts, adhering to traditional recipes and presentation standards.
Contribute to menu development by introducing innovative dishes while retaining the essence of Indian cuisine.
Ingredient Management:
Source and use high-quality spices and ingredients to achieve authentic flavors.
Ensure proper storage and handling of all ingredients to maintain freshness and quality.
Kitchen Operations:
Manage daily food preparation and cooking processes efficiently while adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
Oversee stock levels, minimize waste, and maintain inventory control.
Team Collaboration and Training:
Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Train junior kitchen staff on Indian cooking techniques and quality standards.
Customer Focus:
Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation to meet customer expectations.
Adapt recipes or techniques to accommodate dietary preferences or allergies.

Required Skills and Experience:

Extensive experience in Indian cuisine, including knowledge of regional dishes and traditional cooking techniques (e.g., tandoor, slow-cooked gravies).Proven ability to manage kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment.Creativity and innovation in menu design while maintaining cultural authenticity.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and adherence to food safety standards.
